Interesting History of Iskcon Temple
This temple was built in 1975 by Sri Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON. This temple was built from beautiful marble and to make this temple more attractive, this beautiful craftsmanship and painting work was also done. Prabhupada had given this temple the name Shri Shri Krishna Balarama but he died in 1977 after the construction of this temple. After the death of Prabhupada, his idol was placed inside the temple. The devotees who come here to see Krishna and Balarama also see Prabhupada.

The story of this temple is related to Krishna Balram and Dwapar Yuga.

It is said that the place where the temple of Iskcon Vrindavan is today, used to be the playground of Krishna and Balarama in the Dwapar era. This is where Krishna and Balarama used to play with their friends and graze the cow. As it is said that the place where the ISKCON temple is today, was the childhood of Shri Krishna and Balarama in Dwapar Yuga.

Entry timing of Iskcon Vrindavan, temple
The gate of this ISKCON temple located in Vrindavan is opened at 4:00 in the morning and closed from 12:00 in the afternoon. Again it was opened at 4:00 PM and closed at 8:15 PM.
