Prem Mandir is one of the most beautiful and splendid temples located in Vrindavan which is made from Italian Carrara marble. This temple was completed in a very long time i.e. 11 years and it cost up to 150 crores. This temple was built by the 5th Jagad Guru Kripalu Maharaj. This temple is a modern specimen of ancient Indian craftsmanship and paint. Very beautiful carvings have been done in this temple and more than 11000 craftsmen were called from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for its construction. This temple has been constructed on National Highway 2 which is also located on Bhaktivedanta Swami Marg.

Temple construction and history
This temple has been constructed by Jagad Kripalu Sanstha. The foundation for its construction was laid by Swami Maharaj Kripalu Ji of the institution. He is also considered the founder of the temple. This temple is built on a vast land of 54 acres and more than 11000 laborers worked in its construction this temple was completed in almost 11 years.

The foundation stone of this beautiful temple was laid on 14th January 2001 and its foundation stone was laid by Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj. Its height is 125 feet, length is 122 feet and width is 115 feet.
A Satsang hall has been built next to this temple, in which 25000 people can sit at a time and it is spread over an area of 75000 square feet. This building is called Prem Bhavan.

The first attraction here is the temple here, which is a beacon of beauty and there is no answer to its design and the craftsmanship and painting done on it. This temple is dedicated to Lord Radha Krishna and Ram Sita, so their beautiful pictures and paintings have been made on the walls of the temple, in these paintings, their entire life has been depicted. This painting is very beautiful because it has been made in a very colorful and very spectacular manner. There are also 94 decorated pillars in this temple, which are the deities of Kinkar and Manjari Sakhis.

Its other attractions are the beautiful showcases of Shri Krishna built on the premises of the temple, where some of the major events of his life have been displayed by these showcases. Like the scene of a fight with Kaliya Nag, Krishna rising up on the Govardhan mountain, Radha Krishna, and the Rasleela of Sakhis.

Prem mandir timing
It is open on all days of the week from 5:30 am to 12:00 pm and then from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The morning aarti starts at 5:00 am with Bhog timing at 6:30 am.
