Delhi Zoo or National Zoological Park is an endangered animal shelter located in Old Delhi and a major tourist and picnic spot. The National Zoological Park, also known as Delhi Zoo, was established on 1 November 1959. This park has proved to be a great holiday destination for Delhiites and tourists. This was also the main purpose of its establishment.

Things to keep in mind in National Zoological Park.
It is important to keep some things in mind in Delhi Zoo, if you also go here, then take care of these divisions.
- Do not give anything to eat or drink to any animal here and do not go near them. This can result in damages for both you and the animal.
- It is forbidden to pluck flowers inside the park, if you are found doing so, you may have to pay a fine.
- Some places in this animal park come in a restricted area, so do not go to those places.
- It is forbidden to play loud music or any musical instrument inside the zoo as it can disturb the animals and may even attack them.
- Bringing outside food is not allowed here. If you want to eat something, there is a canteen here from where you can buy and eat something.
- Battery rickshaws run here to go from one place to another, you can sit on them and see the whole zoo.
- The park is very big, so if you are planning to come here, then the time of at least 2 horses has come out.
