The exact period of the temple’s establishment is not known, but it has clearly been a long-standing center of local faith. In 2023, the government sanctioned about ₹1.03 crore for beautification of the temple complex, including the development of gardens, parking facilities, and street lighting. A tender was also issued under the name “Shri Balaji Temple, Pipliyakheda near Soyatkala, Agar Malwa” with the aim of repair and improvement, showing that active steps are being taken toward the upkeep and modernization of the temple.

Features

The temple is surrounded by shady trees, the fragrance of rural soil, cool breezes in the mornings and evenings, and the divine sound of temple bells—offering devotees a deeply spiritual experience. As part of the beautification project, facilities like a garden and parking space are being planned, ensuring both convenience and crowd management. Beyond being a religious place, the temple also acts as a social gathering spot, especially during festivals and religious events when large numbers of people come together.

Architecture

There is no detailed or documented information about the architecture—such as when it was built or in which style. However, its structure follows the typical pattern of rural Hindu temples: a mandap (hall), garbhagriha (sanctum), and courtyard. Under the beautification project, the premises are proposed to be adorned with red stone and equipped with modern amenities like parking and lighting for the convenience of devotees.

Deities Worshipped in the Temple

As the name suggests, the presiding deity is Lord Hanuman (Balaji). His idol is the main focus of worship. In addition, like most small to medium-sized temples, the premises may also house idols of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, Shiva Lingam, or other local deities.

Aartis and Bhajans

Regular morning (Prabhat Aarti) and evening (Sandhya Aarti) are performed here. During these times, the atmosphere resonates with bhajans, kirtans, recitals from the Ramcharitmanas, and the chanting of Hanuman Chalisa. On special occasions like Hanuman Jayanti and Ram Navami, grand bhajan-kirtan sessions and tableau (Jhanki) presentations are organized.
