Iskcon Temple Delhi (International Society for Krishna Consciousness )

There are many gods and goddesses in the Hindu religion who took incarnation on earth and did welfare of people and did many social welfare works. Lord Krishna is also revered by the followers of the Hindu religion.

Iskone Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. The followers of the Iskon temple consider Lord Krishna to be the greatest deity. It is also known as Hare Krishna Temple.

By the divine grace of AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Delhi NCR got its first ISKCON temple in 1989. Which was named Sri Sri Radha Parthasarathy Temple and this temple is popularly known as ISKCON Temple Delhi.

ISKCON Delhi was established in 1998 by Akchyukta Kanvinde. This temple is in the Kailash area of ​​New Delhi. The inside view of this temple is very beautiful. There is a store of ancient artifacts here. The sound of the “Hare Krishna” mantra is heard all around as you enter the temple. There are temples of “Krishna Radha”, “Ram Sita” and “Gaur Nitai” in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, which is decorated with beautiful clothes.

History of Iskcon Temple

ISKCON temples are in all the countries. Through ISKCON, the message of Gita and Krishna Bhakti is spread all over the world. It is a spiritual organization founded in 1966 in New York by Abhayacharanarvinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. ISKCON devotees consider Lord Krishna to be the source of all gods and goddesses. ISKCON’s teachings are based on the 5000-year-old book Gita. ISKCON Temple in Delhi is dedicated to Krishna and Radha. Its construction was to spread Vedic literature all over the world.
