Today, where we are seeing the huge temple of Jalpa Mata, 250 years ago, Earlier there used to be a huge forest there. Here bamboo trees were spread everywhere. It was called the bamboo forest. According to the people, Bihari Lal Panda, who was a resident of a small village in Rewa city, was told by Maa Jalpa about being in the forest in his dream and said that makes a temple and establish me here.
