Bandar Chuha is a religious place and a holy temple situated in Tehsil Bahoriband of Katni City in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This place is 5 km away from Bahoriband, in Sipli village, on the banks of a river in a hilly area. There is a temple here, but to reach it one has to go through a dirt road, then cross a small bridge through hilly areas, and reaches the temple. After crossing the bridge, you find the temple of Lord Shankar and Hanuman ji which is a single-story building. Along with this, before crossing the bridge here, there is also a temple of Lord Ganesha and the family deity of the villagers, which falls in the lower area of the bridge. There are some stairs on the left side of Lord Shankar and Hanuman ji temple, through which you can go to the temple and prayer place located on top of the mountain. From here you can see the beautiful view of the river and its surroundings from the top of the mountain.

The name of the temple we are going to tell about is Maa Jalpa Temple or Jalpa Madiya. This temple is located in Jalpa Ward of Katni City and is about 250 years old temple. It is a belief of this temple that every devotee who asks for something here with a sincere heart, his every wish is fulfilled.

There is a crowd of people in this temple throughout the year, but there is a huge crowd of devotees here on Navartern. There is also a statue of Mother Kali and Mother Sharda along with Mother Jalpa. Apart from this, there are also idols of Bhairav Baba, Lord Hanuman, Marhi Mata, and Chausath Yogini goddesses.
