Bandar Chuha is a religious place and a holy temple situated in Tehsil Bahoriband of Katni City in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This place is 5 km away from Bahoriband, in Sipli village, on the banks of a river in a hilly area. There is a temple here, but to reach it one has to go through a dirt road, then cross a small bridge through hilly areas, and reaches the temple. After crossing the bridge, you find the temple of Lord Shankar and Hanuman ji which is a single-story building. Along with this, before crossing the bridge here, there is also a temple of Lord Ganesha and the family deity of the villagers, which falls in the lower area of the bridge. There are some stairs on the left side of Lord Shankar and Hanuman ji temple, through which you can go to the temple and prayer place located on top of the mountain. From here you can see the beautiful view of the river and its surroundings from the top of the mountain.

After all why this place is called Bandar Chuha (Monkey Rat)? This is because monkeys are found in abundance at this place and they do a lot of mischiefs. And this place got its name because of his mischiefs. Even today when you go here you will see many monkeys here.

Bandar Chuha is located in Seepli village near Bahriband. To reach here you will have to take a bus or taxi from Katni or come to Bahoriband by yourself. After coming to Bahoriband, you will have to take an auto to go to Bandar Chuha or you can take a shared auto or you can go by your own vehicle. It is near Seepli village, 5 km away from Bahoriband.
