Nestled atop a serene hill near the village of Nainod, just outside Indore, Gommatgiri Digambar Jain Temple is a sacred haven dedicated to Lord Bahubali. A Glimpse into History
The idea of this holy temple was envisioned in 1979 by the revered Digambar Jain Acharya 108 Shri Vidyanand Muni Maharaj during his pilgrimage to Shravanabelagola. He found the location ideal for creating a replica of the iconic Bahubali statue. By 1981, the dream was realized with the efforts of Jain community leaders Dulichand Sethi, Shantilal Patni, and Babulal Patodi.
