According to the story, one day, while Lord Ram and Sita Mata were resting on Sphatik Shila, Jayant took the form of a crow and pecked at Sita Mata’s feet. Witnessing this, Lord Ram aimed an arrow at Jayant to teach him a lesson. Jayant, in fear, sought refuge in all the worlds but found none. In the end, he returned to Sita Mata and begged for forgiveness. Seeing his repentance, Sita Mata forgave him.
