History of the Temple

The history of Ramvan Temple dates back to 1929 when continuous recitation of the Ramcharitmanas was initiated at this sacred site. The temple was officially established in 1936 with the installation of a magnificent statue of Lord Rama. Following this, the Manas Sangh Trust was founded in 1939 to promote awareness of the Ramayana and Indian culture. In 1959, the Tulsi Museum was established, showcasing artifacts collected since 1925.
