Bhawartal Garden Jabalpur

Bhawartal Garden, Jabalpur is a garden full of greenery in Jabalpur city and it is also a famous picnic spot and tourist place. There are many types of flowers and plant species in the garden. History of Bhawartal Garden, Jabalpur

Bhawartal Garden’s history dates back to the British rule period. This beautiful garden was built in the 19th century but before, it was used as a shelter for the British Army. The British Government also used it for the accommodation and training of its soldiers. But after the end of the decade of 1990, it was converted into a garden and it was opened to the general public. It is named after Bhawartal, a lake here. Today this garden is a popular place in Jabalpur and it is also a picnic spot which is a perfect place for families. This park is also known as Motilal Park.
