Ichhapurti KJS Temple is located in the Maihar district of Satna in the Madhya Pradesh state of India. This temple is dedicated to Adi Shakti Goddess Durga. It is also known as KJS Temple, it is a very attractive temple, which has been designed like Akshardham of Delhi. This temple is built on the premises of the KJS Cement Factory located in Maihar. Maihar is famous all over India for Goddess Sharda and now Chhapurti temple has also become a very famous pilgrimage place here. Pink stones have been used in the construction of this temple, which were brought from Banshipaharpur in Rajasthan. Craftsmen were called from Jaipur to do artwork on these letters. This temple is 62 feet high from the ground and it has been built in a very beautiful way. A beautiful garden has been built around the temple and a beautiful fountain has been built in front of the temple. Gola Math temple Maihar is an ancient temple and it is the ancient heritage of our Hindu religion. This temple is located in Maihar city of Madhya Pradesh and comes at the entrance of Satna district. The temple here is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva and in this temple there is a very ancient Shivling of Lord Shiva, which has been worshiped here since ancient times. This temple belongs to the Kalchuri period and this temple was built in the 11th century.

This whole temple was built by cutting a huge stone and it was a single stone, no other stone was used in it. Apart from the Gola Math Temple, there is also a temple of Lord Ram-Sita, Lord Vishnu, and Goddess Kali.

Maihar Temple is a huge temple built on Trikut mountain in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. Maihar temple is very beautiful and huge and everyone becomes happy to see its beauty. Devotees come here after crossing 1063 steps to see the Maa Sharda.

Maihar Temple of Satna is the only temple of Mother Sharda in the whole of India. This temple is known as the temple of Maa Sharda Devi. There is an ancient story behind it being called Maihar.

Such is the story that Mata Sati, the daughter of King Daksha wanted to marry Lord Shiva But King Daksha did not want this. Mata Sati married Shiva against her wish. Daksha did not consider Shiva as God. They considered him only as the guru of ghosts and aghoris.

महत्वपूर्ण रहा है। मंदिर से जुड़ी एक अत्यंत रोचक घटना भी प्रचलित है। अंग्रेज़ी शासनकाल के दौरान अफगानिस्तान युद्ध में लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल मार्टिन नामक अंग्रेज अफसर को भेजा गया। उनकी पत्नी ने बाबा बैजनाथ से मनोकामना की कि यदि उनके पति सुरक्षित लौट आएँगे तो वे मंदिर का जीर्णोद्धार करवाएँगी। मान्यता है कि युद्ध में स्वयं भगवान शिव योगी का रूप धारण कर कर्नल मार्टिन की रक्षा के लिए उपस्थित हुए और उन्हें विजयी बनाया। जब कर्नल मार्टिन सकुशल लौटे तो उनकी पत्नी ने वचन निभाते हुए सन् 1883 में मंदिर का पुनर्निर्माण कराया। मंदिर में आज भी इस घटना का शिलालेख मौजूद है। यह कहानी इस मंदिर की महत्ता को और भी
