Located a few kilometers away from Rithi in Katni district, Madhya Pradesh, the Nandchand Shiva Temple beautifully combines devotion and history. This temple is not just a sacred space for worship, but also a living testimony to India’s ancient art and architecture. As soon as one arrives here, the tranquil atmosphere, lush greenery, and scattered remnants of ancient temples transport the mind to a bygone era. Nohleshwar Mahadev Temple, Nohta – A Living Example of History, Culture, and Architecture History The history of the Nandchand region goes back to around the 5th to 8th century CE. During this period, several temples were built here dedicated to Shaivism, Vaishnavism, and Shakti worship.
