Ujjain, often called the spiritual capital of India since ancient times, is world-famous for the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. In this sacred city stands the ISKCON Temple (Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan Mandir), a remarkable center of devotion, peace, and divinity. The temple not only offers a blissful glimpse of Lord Krishna and Radharani but also fills every devotee with a deep spiritual experience. Built with shining Makrana marble, this temple captivates visitors with its beauty and grandeur.
History

The history of ISKCON Ujjain Temple is truly fascinating. Established in 2006 under the guidance and leadership of Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaj, the temple was miraculously completed in just 10 months.
Adding to its significance, Ujjain is the very land where Lord Krishna, along with his brother Balarama and friend Sudama, received education from Guru Sandipani Muni. Therefore, every monument and temple here connected with Lord Krishna is considered extremely sacred.
Architecture

ISKCON Ujjain is a splendid example of architectural brilliance. Constructed entirely from pure Makrana marble—the same marble used to build the Taj Mahal—the temple radiates a divine aura.
The temple spires rise as if touching the sky, while the glowing white surroundings enhance its spiritual charm. Inside the sanctum, the beautifully adorned idols of Lord Krishna and Radharani rest gracefully on a golden throne. The temple complex also houses a Tulsi garden, lush green lawns, a prasadam hall, and a large goshala (cow shelter).
